Roofing · Storm season · Yours before you pay
Roofing websites, built like a roof.
Nobody in Houston shops for a roofer on a good day. They are standing in a wet hallway with a phone in their hand, choosing between three names. Scroll, and watch this one go on course by course — eave to ridge, and the ridge cap is your phone number.
Six courses · eave to ridge · one scroll
A roof goes on in order.
Eave first, ridge last, nothing skipped and nothing guessed. A website is the same job: six courses, each one real work, and the last one is how they reach you.
- Your own job photographs
- Your words, set properly
- The page, built from scratch
- Static files, nothing to patch
- Your name on the domain
- The ridge: your phone number

What a roofing website is actually for.
It is not a brochure. For most of the year almost nobody looks at it, and then a storm comes through Houston and for two weeks it is the only thing standing between you and somebody who is about to call whoever looks most real. The whole job is to be ready for those two weeks.
What that customer is deciding
- Are these people real, or a lead broker
- Have they done a roof that looks like mine
- Are they near enough to turn up
- Can I call them right now, from this screen
So the build answers each one
- Your own job photographs, not stock
- Before and after on the same roof
- Houston said plainly, not buried
- Your number in 8 places on the page
What we will not tell you. We do not promise leads and we do not promise a position in search results. Anybody who does is guessing with your money. What we will put in writing is the response clock: call or text and we talk the same day.
Four rungs. Pick by how much there is to show.
Most roofing companies land on the middle two, because the photographs are the argument and there are usually a lot of them. A studio build this size usually runs $5,000–$15,000.
Nothing to prepare.
- Built from what’s already public about you, plus one short call
- One page
- 1 revision round
Built from your actual work.
- Your raw job photos, cropped, colour-matched and placed properly
- One page, written from one call — you talk us through the work once, we take it from there
- 2 revision rounds
You write nothing.
- We write every word and curate every image — or bring your own, and the same budget builds more site
- Around five pages, built to turn visitors into calls
- 3 revision rounds
One thing nobody else has.
- A hand-coded interactive centrepiece — a roof that assembles itself, a photo that develops as you scroll
- Six pages or more, scoped before we start
- 5 revision rounds
Nothing is due up front. The first page is built in full and put on a live address before you pay. Aftercare is optional, from $59/mo, and $200–$500 if you want more changes than the rung includes. Hosting is your own account — about $200 a year, about $350 if you take payments online, billed by the platform and never marked up by us.
Based in Houston, building for roofing companies anywhere. See the full pricing and process, what a redesign changes, or how this works for a smaller outfit.
The roofing build, and three beside it.
The roofing one is a scroll-scrubbed build — the footage moves with your thumb rather than playing at you. Open any of them; no two share a layout, a typeface or a way of moving. The full set is on the work page.
Questions roofers actually ask.
What does a roofing company website cost?
Four rungs, all of them on this page: Calling card $799, Landing $1,500, Signature $3,500, Flagship $7,500+. A studio build this size usually runs $5,000–$15,000.
Aftercare is separate and optional, from $59/mo. $200–$500 if you want more changes than the rung includes.
Do I pay before I see it?
No. We build your first page in full and put it on a live address before any money changes hands. If it is not right you owe nothing.
For a roofer that matters more than usual, because the season decides your year and you should not be buying a page you have not seen.
I already have a site from a marketing company. Is this different?
Usually yes, in one specific way: most of those are a template with your logo dropped in, which is why so many roofing sites in one city look like each other.
Every page here is built from scratch for one business. If you want the comparison in detail, see what a redesign changes and what you keep.
Will it bring me leads?
We will not promise you leads or a position in search results, and you should be careful with anyone who does.
What a site can honestly do is make you look real to somebody deciding between three numbers, and make calling you easy. That is what this one is built to do.
What do you need from me?
Photographs of your own jobs from your phone, and a short conversation about the work you actually want more of. That is genuinely it on the Calling card rung.
Before and after shots of the same roof are worth the most. They do the arguing that copy cannot.
Can I update it myself during storm season?
Not directly — there is no login and no page builder, which is also why there is nothing to hack and nothing to patch.
Changes come through us. That is what aftercare is for, from $59/mo, and it is optional. Hosting is your own account — about $200 a year, about $350 if you take payments online, billed by the platform and never marked up by us.
Do you only build for Houston roofers?
We are in Houston, so we know what a roofing season here does to a phone. That is the honest reason to prefer us over a studio three time zones away.
We build for roofing companies anywhere. Nothing about the work needs us to be in the same city.
Who owns it?
You do, outright, on every rung. The files are yours and the domain is in your name.
If you stop paying for aftercare the site stays up and stays yours. There is no version of this where cancelling takes your website down.
Get your first page built before the season.
Send photographs of two or three roofs you are proud of, ideally before and after. We build the first page in full, put it on a live address, and you decide after you have seen it. Fastest way is a call or a text to (832) 742-4572. Or email shane@onthemapweb.com.
