The price board is the page.
A one-page site for a two-chair barber shop, built so the thing a customer actually wants — what it costs and whether you are open — is the first thing on screen.

What it had to do
A walk-in barber shop has one job online and it is not persuasion. Somebody is standing on the pavement with their phone deciding whether to come in. They want the price of a cut, whether there is a chair free, and where the door is.
So the brief was subtractive. No scroll journey, no film, no long story about craft — those belong on a build that is selling something considered. Here they would sit between the customer and the answer.
How it was built
- The board leads. Cuts, fades and hot-towel shaves with real prices and real durations, set as a board rather than a pricing table, because that is the object a barber shop already has on its wall.
- Open-or-closed is stated, not implied. The status line reads as a sentence — closed now, opens Tuesday at nine — instead of making someone parse a week of opening hours.
- Three actions, all one tap. Call the shop, book a chair, get directions. Nothing else competes with them.
- Structured data for local search. Hours, services and location marked up so a search engine can read them without a human rewriting them into a listing.
This build deliberately has no signature moment, and its panel on the work index deliberately does not move either. The other three demonstrate what motion buys you; this one demonstrates what restraint buys you. Adding a scroll journey here would make it a worse site and a worse demonstration — at this tier the discipline is the product.
This is a demonstration build for an invented business. The business does not exist — the name, the prices and the details are invented so we can show the standard of work without putting a client’s site up as a sales tool. The code, the design and the build are entirely real. We label it because a demonstration presented as a client is the thing we least want to be.
What this tier includes
The Calling card tier is one page, built from your material, with one revision round. It is the page you already needed, done properly, and you own it outright. Whatever you pay, the finished site and the domain are in your name, and we build the first page before you owe anything.
The other builds
Your business could be the next one.
We build your first page in full before you pay anything — a real, finished page, not a mockup. You decide once you have seen it live.
